Our Objective

In our rural areas, there is a challenge of providing appropriate education, specially for the girls. All the kids, irrespective of their social and economical background, deserve basic education and facilities that motivates them to study, get training to enhance their skills and to support them by giving and sharing different opportunities available. There should be collective efforts and good partnership between rural schools and the community.

From our community, people who could support should come forward and work for the welfare of their communities. Our intention is to create a self sustainable education and skill development system so that people in villages can life a healthy life in that ecosystem.

We are constantly working within our best intentions an limited resources to support kids education who can’t afford. Now with the help of our philanthropic friends, goal is also to help and support more kids, specially girl child at different level who are lacking opportunities due to different reasons, we would specially focus on skill development so that these girls can be independent and support themselves. We strongly believe that when we educate a girl we educate a family.

Our Initiatives

We at Vikram Foundation a philanthropic group of family and friends, want to focus on the schools where kids from weak social and economical background go for studies. Most of the time we found that schools for these kids lack basic facilities and in these schools mostly girl child are enrolled for the studies due to less fee etc. In order to enable these kids, specially girls education:

Computer Lab

Basuchak, Ghazipur at Vikrama Singh Intermediate college to provide digital education to the kids at minimum fee. Lab was inaugurated by Dr. Kamal Narayan Singh on 15th August 2018 and has enabled girls to take the computer classes in our village itself and now they do not have to commute to far places to get the training. This lab also helped in creating job as well for the local community inform of lab trainers.

 

 

Library Project

: Vikram foundation is also working to establish a library for the kids. After interaction with kids foundation has noticed that many kids do not have books of their subjects. Library will give opportunity to kids to learn, discuss and understand vast knowledge available to absorb. It will help in inculcating reading habits in kids. Also, to give them exposure with outside opportunities foundation is working to have different competitive magazines, rozgar samachar and other books related to moral studies. With the library, our goal is also to support a girl who can work as librarian, who is local and willing to continue her higher studies or want to do something in life. This effort will help in skill development, sharing knowledge and increase the employment as well as can motivate the kids.

 Support the community:

We can support the community by supporting the kids in getting proper education.

 We believe that no kid is poor, but it is the society which is poor and can’t support the kids to get their basic rights. In this project, we  would try to identify the kids who really need support and we will see what best we can do to support every year.

Giving Mentor-ship is of our dream projects where we want to connect the kids from our villages to the entire world. Idea is to have a video conferencing setup at the school where in a year we can run at least 2 programs on the mentor-ship for the skill development for the kids.
