Vikram Foundation works on the principle of Late Vikrama Singh who worked all his life to uplift the poor and needy people. He was born in Basuchak, Ghazipur in an affluent farmer family and since his childhood he always took stand for the needy people. After the independence and when Panchayat Raj started, he was the first Sarpanch of the village and served the local community as a visionary leader by making sure his village has good chakroads, post office, schools, hospital, Panchayat Bhawan, Railway halt and many more things. Founder of Vikram Foundation, Sri Baleshwer Singh and Smt. Urmila Singh whose vision is guided by principle of Baleshwer Singh’s father, Late Vikrama Singh and his mother Late Mantorna devi. Vikram foundation with the support from family and philanthropic friends is working in the field of education, environment and Social awareness activities. camp is being organized every year to trained the kids for Art & Craft work, making them aware of the environment, health etc. A computer Lab was also established to meet the purpose and many other initiatives to help and support the kids who deserve it. As Foundation believes that kids are not poor, but it’s the society which is poor who can’t provide basic skill-based education to the kids. Foundation also put efforts to spread greenery by working on small projects with the partnership of different schools.
Foundation wants to inbuilt the vision and thoughts of Late Vikrama Singh for its future citizens which was based on the respect, love, equality and brotherhood among people, broadly we can call it as 3R rule, which means respect for you i.e. “Self-Respect” (1R), “Respect for others”(2R) and most important “respect for our environment”(3R). All the vision of the Vikram Foundation is built around that by its Founder Shri Baleshwer Singh & family and all the philanthropic friends who support the foundation.
